Defaults are where the Company information, default company configuration, default company accounts and default numbers are setup or configured.



Reporting Method
Un-ticked means Accrual and ticked means Cash. This sets the default however you can run reports in either for comparison.
Cash Discount
Whether providing a discount affects the tax amount calculated
The number of decimal places the system will display and calculate to.
The value that rounding will calculate to. Note, Payment methods also have rounding that will override the default.
Weight Unit
The default unit used for weight for Inventory and Freight
Default Contact
The default card view when creating Customers and Vendors
Sort Names
Whether 1 comes before A
Default Terms
The default Invoice terms for Customers
The default language pack applied to your account. Note, users can set their our language in their user settings.
The Timezone for the building for timestamp logging
Paper Size
The paper size used for templates.
For printing options, values are:
  • A4 - Portrait - 210w x 297w mm / 8.3w x 11.7h in
  • Letter - Portrait - 216w x 279h mm / 8.5w by 11h inches
  • Universal - Portrait - 210w x 279h mm / 8.3w x 11h in
